A two-residence premium category house in the historical district of Budapest, right below the Castle of Buda. Both residences consist of four living storeys and an underground garage. There is room for two families with three children each. Our goal was to build an interior environment that fits this part of the city but also includes the highest possible technology standards. There is an elevator, intercom system, remote-controlled curtains and much more.
For the reopening of Hotel Delibab in the heart of Budapest, we had to come up with three different style of room designs. One was an eclectic design with classical furniture, it's subtle but matches the style and history of the building. The other one was a romantic/modern version with a little cheaper look. The last one, a real twenty-first century design, featured smoke-filled lamps, huge modern paintings on the walls and bright colors like pink, gold and white.
A project only for self amusement and learning new things. It is the kind of house I could enjoy living my life in, surrounded by nature, without anything disturbing the peace of the artist. Packed with technology and modern design it's quite a big contrast to the forest, but - with using a lot of wood and stone - still a part of it.
Assignment by Korean company, Hyundai. The task was to create a competitive design for the European market, with keeping the Korean roots as much as possible. We aimed at a look that's not too industrial, that can look well on the wall in a lobby without the need for covering it.
There was a huge flood in Hungary in 2010 that turned many families homeless. We designed this ligth-structure house for them, it was fast and cheap to build and maintain aswell. Built using premade profiled steel girders and heat insulator concrete.
